hi ed, why dont you also change the texture for stones and cliffs? Its as easy to do as groundtexture. I think you could also invest some time in treesettings. Place some higher trees (you can also place a tree twice so it appears more often). You can easly arange the density inside the editor. Select a forest type and you will see at the right hand corner that you can tick to use your own settings. There you can set the x and y settings for how often treees get placed
