CNV Files

Top  Previous  Next

The CNV (convert) files let you continue with an ongoing conversion from a certain conversion step, which will save you time if you have to redo the conversion for some reason.

This feature is especially useful during conversion step 3 where you set the downhill directions for the contours. On complicated maps, it can be easy to miss a contour going in the wrong direction. Make it a habit to save to a CNV file regularly when you do a user-controlled OCAD conversion.

Please note that CNV files will not save the changes you do to a symbol set. You have to permanently save the symbol set for these settings to stick.
