Point Flat

Top  Previous  Next

Creates a flat circular area around the point. This parameter type is available in version 1.305 and later.

Radius

The radius range of the circular area, in meters.

Flatten Amount

Affects how much the height is adjusted towards horizontal.

If 1.0, the circle will be totally flat.

If 0.5, it will adjust the terrain halfway between the original and horizontal.

0.0 will do nothing.

Linear Falloff

Affects how much the height is adjusted based on the distance from the center. A value of 0 means no falloff, so the height change will be applied the full radius.

A value of 1.0 means the change will be applied fully at the center, but not at all on the edge, with a linear ramp in between. This will generally "soften" the edges of the flattened area.

Offset

X: How much the circular area should be offset (in meters) in west-east direction.

Z: How much the circular area should be offset (in meters) in north-south direction.

The offset value is relative to the OCAD symbol orientation. Multiple instances of this parameter can be used together with different offsets to create irregular-shaped objects.
